Body shape before turning
Body sides, fins, tail during the sewing process. The fins and tail were basted into the body for structural stability
All pattern pieces after being cut out, laid out in proper order
Kyogre
Kyogre was made to be similar to my dying Blahaj, seen in the background of the cover photo. I intended for it to be similar in size to one, which it ended up being slightly larger than. I also wanted to give it weights, similar to weighted blankets, which I have actually gone on to implement in many other plushes that I’ve made since. It was actually the first pattern I made by myself.
Sewn-in patterns for fins and body (no use of applique or embroidery)
