Furret’s cute little face
Bottom half of the body. All the stripes utilize color-blocking, and the front paws are basted into the body instead of being ladder-stitched on.
Furret- Commission
A Furret I was commissioned to make, although I must admit I’ve wanted to make one of these guys for a while already. The indivisual who commissioned me requested that I add armature to the plush, and as a result, it is slightly posable. Additionally, for the final product I ran out of applique for the mouth, and ended up dipping my toe into light hand embroidery.
Armature for posable potential
Hand-embroidered details
I actually had enough time and materials to make a second version of the plush before it was handed off to its recipient, as I wasn’t fully content with the finished product.. The first rendition has an issue with the fabric’s nap going in different directions, whereas the second rendition fixes this issue.
